True Nature Wilderness Therapy Joins Forces With Cherry Tree Counselling to Launch Therapists for Change

A new collaborative space for therapists seeking community, sustainability, and a more human way to practice

Squamish, BC — True Nature Wilderness Therapy is proud to announce its partnership with Cherry Tree Counselling in the launch of Therapists for Change, a relational space for therapists across Canada who are reimagining how they work, connect, and care for themselves alongside their clients.

Co-held by Heather Hendrie, Registered Clinical Counsellor and founder of True Nature Wilderness Therapy, and Cree Lambeck, Registered Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor at Cherry Tree Counselling, Therapists for Change was born out of a shared recognition that something in the world of therapy is shifting.

“We were hearing the same things from therapists everywhere,” says Hendrie. “Loneliness. Burnout. A hunger for community over competition. We wanted to build something that actually responded to that.”

Therapists for Change is not a program or a referral network. It is a gathering place, built slowly and intentionally, for clinicians who want community instead of isolation, collaboration instead of competition, and a pace of practice that is sustainable for the long term.

As part of the partnership, True Nature and Cherry Tree offer Half-Day Supervision Intensives throughout the year, co-facilitated by Lambeck and Hendrie. The virtual sessions offer CRPO-eligible clinical supervision hours in a small, closed group format rooted in a nature and nurture supervision model.

The intensives are particularly supportive for therapists working in perinatal and perimenopause care, trauma and grief, eco-therapy, and nature-based frameworks.

“This is a companion to your existing supervision practice,” says Hendrie. “A seasonal retreat for your nervous system as much as your clinical development.”
